Debunked Rumor of the Day: Sorry Officeheads, that is not Steve Carell in a fake beard playing for the Queerenstein Bears in last week’s episode.
An NBC rep put the kibosh on the surprise cameo rumors, officially confirming to WaPo’s Celebritology that Carell was not seated among the extras during the trivia scene.
No comment however on a possible future Carell cameo, but it will likely be a lot less subtle.
